Learn More About Barnett Shale Gas Production in North Texas

The following web sites will help you learn more about the Barnett Shale and gas well drilling in North Texas

If you're new to the "oil and gas biz" and you're not sure what all the fuss is about, here is a video I found that is the best thing I've seen, short of a trip to an actual rig, to educate you on what's happening in the Barnett Shale here in North Texas. It's a 3-D animation from Harding Company.

When you get to the page click on the Video link at the bottom to go to the movie or you can click around on the still diagrams that depict three phases of the drilling process.

Please allow plenty of time for the site to load. It may take several minutes depending on your Internet connection speed.
